Paper Science & Chemical Engineering Foundation
Welcome to the Paper Science & Chemical Engineering Foundation at UWSP!
Who We Are
The University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Paper Science and Chemical Engineering Foundation (PS&ChE Foundation) was organized in 1974 by the Paper Science Department Staff, along with industrial and business leaders. The purpose of the Foundation was to form a tax-exempt, non-profit organization to promote and receive philanthropic gifts to support the Paper Science Program at UWSP. The management of the Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors composed of up to twenty-two (22) voting members, each elected for a three-year term. The Board, along with the Foundation staff, also works to enhance the image and presence of the Paper Science and Chemical Engineering Program to incoming applicants, alumni, friends, corporations and the general public. Private gifts and donations raised by the Foundation traditionally support scholarships, academic programs, facility research, pilot equipment, and other areas that are not, or cannot be supported from state appropriations.

Fuel the Future: Giving Tuesday is Coming!

December 2, the UWSP Paper Science & Chemical Engineering Foundation will join a global movement of giving. This year, your generosity can fuel the future of the paper, packaging, and chemical engineering industries.

    Your support helps us provide:

                              • Scholarships that open doors

                              • Hands-on laboratory and pilot plant experiences that mirror real industry work

                              • Internships and professional development that launch careers

For more than 50 years, our graduates have stepped into industry as innovators, leaders, and problem-solvers. Your gift helps us continue that legacy, and you can take advantage of end-of-year tax-deductible contributions in doing so.

Will you stand with us this Giving Tuesday?

Now more than ever, the industry needs to replace a generation of retiring professionals with capable leaders. Together, we can power the next generation of engineers.
